Celebrating 40 Years of Improving Lives
It was 40 years ago that doctors Bill Kooistra and Chet Maternowski came together to create Project Rehab, the first treatment facility of its kind in West Michigan. Bill and Chet were courageous trailblazers that worked together to provide hope for the addicted for the first time in West Michigan. Since then, Project Rehab has provided thousands of clients with the opportunity to improve their lives. As we observe Project Rehab’s 40th anniversary, we celebrate the courage of our clients and all those who have supported our mission throughout the years. This important milestone is commemorated with three special projects that promote the value of Project Rehab’s work and inspire hope.

Tribute to Motown concert
The Tribute to Motown concert was jam-packed with songs made famous by Marvin Gaye, Martha and the Vandellas, Smokey Robinson, and The Temptations—just to name a few. We are appreciative of Wealthy Theater management who produced this outstanding show, and the performers who made sure that everyone had a good time: Mona Sallie and the Sounds of the Motor City, The Crunch Bunch Band, Dangerous Intent, and Ray Townsend. Each of these acts are outstanding on their own, but together they created a one of kind performance that rocked the house! The concert was supported by:
